Unfortunately, the tournament has been cancelled due to scheduling issues. We'll try this again later. Thanks to everyone who signed up or were interested.
Great initiative, we have to bump this everywhere and generate awareness, will benefit the growth of all custom gamemodes.

As an update, I'm now only asking for your steamcommunity link when signing up so that I can add you on Steam. Do make sure you can load and play Reflex before signing up, however.

Thanks for signing up! That makes 6 teams I have currently. I'll put together and send out a preliminary schedule tomorrow so that if there are any issues we can resolve them before Saturday.
Signed up teams:
I've put together the preliminary bracket and tournament schedule which can be found at http://challonge.com/reflex3v3
Due to only getting 6 teams to sign up, I've changed the format to Double Elimination instead of Single Elimination (though the grand finals is still a single Best of 3). This does give each team an extra chance to make a deep run in the tournament, so hopefully the change does not cause any issues. In order to create the bracket, two teams need to get a first round bye, so the two teams which signed up first were given the bye as appreciation for their early support.
The schedule is given on the challonge.com page, with Day 1 (January 24th) starting at Noon EST. Day 2 will start at 11:00 AM EST in order to accommodate known team schedules. If you have any concerns about scheduling and availability please let me know as soon as possible and we can hopefully resolve them quickly. Remember that stand-ins are allowed (and I know of a few players that may be available), so missing a game isn't the end of the world.
I will send out steam friend invites to team captains so that I can give out lobby passwords before scheduled games.
I hope everyone is looking forward to a fun tournament =)
