Random Mobs Spawning & "Displacement" tool

Firstly, I made a new map with barebones, threw some terrain in it, and ran. It was working fine except after about a minute three creeps spawned like 100 units 135 degrees away from the core. I didn't put any spawners in the map yet and I haven't coded anything. The "NPC Created" event kept firing even though more weren't spawning (which they did but at different intervals than when the event fired) When I killed them, I got a ton of errors pointing here

is there any explanation?

On a side note, is there a way to use the "displacement" tool? I hate flat terrain...
